Pornography in the internet age

A couple of days ago at work, a customer and I had a conversation. It went something like this.

Jane Roe “So, I was at a friends house, and he beckoned me over to the computer to watch something. It was two girls and they were doing stuff to one another, then it cut to one of the girls dooking in a cup and then they ate it.”

Me: “Yeah, I saw that a couple of weeks ago at a poker game. I got paid 50 cents to watch it without laughing or turning away.”

Then, another of my regular customers chimed in with his opinion on the subject.

John Doe: “Not worth it man.”

He’s right, but he’s also a very poor judge of that, as you’ll find out in just a second.

A few weeks ago, some unsavory character came into the shop with a bag full of dvd’s. You can guess what was on them. Suffice it to say, he tried offering me some for sale. Suffice it to say that I wasn’t interested.

Cut to today. Same unsavory guy is now hawking VHS pr0n. John Doe apparently thought it would be a good idea to buy some of these tapes. He bought a “grab bag” from this guy for $10. Before buying them, he said to me, he wouldn’t buy them if he thought they were low quality. He brought the bag back in the store, and I proceeded to examine some of these titles.

I daresay, he was a bad judge of quality. Amongst the gems found were “Wanda Does Transylvania”, “Live from Bangkok”, “Massage Girls: Bangkok”, and a couple of others that I can’t remember. Suffice it to say, that was the most exciting part of my day.
